What is this about?
Final Fantasy XIV has had a poor history when it comes to accessibility for players of varying ability. When 7.0 introduced the new graphical update, this included changes to how lighting worked as well as an emphasis on visual noise in both environment and encounter design. These changes have had negative impacts on players ranging from eye strain and headaches to full on migraines, nausea, and seizures. Since DT's early access, affected players have reported these issues through official channels - such as support tickets, bug reports, and forum threads. The devs have yet to publicly acknowledge this as an issue. This site is meant to spread awareness of the problem and provide a place for affected players to report their concerns without needing an active subscription. Many of the original reports and discussion went in one forum megathread and are buried under hundreds of posts, making it difficult to find and act on that feedback. Linked here is a survey where players can report their concerns, and their responses can be directed to those who can act upon them.
